Green Oriental Screen

The Oriental Screens belong to the architectural side of Habbo's Version 7 furniture. Unlike a chair or table, they could completely change how a room was structured. Players could use them as walls, dividers, entrances or decorative backgrounds. The Green Oriental Screen has a particularly nice little piece of history: it was handed out as a prize for the Leap Day competition on Habbo UK in February 2006. That gives the item a very specific moment in Habbo history rather than simply being another catalogue release. The screen family eventually grew into numerous colours, with the Golden and Pink versions becoming particularly prestigious Super Rares. Some colours were never even made available on Habbo.com. That makes the Oriental Screens a great example of the V7 philosophy: one design, many colours, and an entirely different rarity story for each version.
