The Lodge furniture range is particularly interesting because it has remained remarkably consistent across Habbo's history. The original Lodge range was released when the Hotel opened and has been brought back and expanded many times since. From an artistic perspective, the wooden textures are a great example of pixel-art material rendering. The artist has to make a relatively small number of pixels communicate wood grain, thickness, shadows and highlights while maintaining Habbo's characteristic isometric perspective.
